It’s that time of year again.  You know, the time of year when the northeast air hurts your face and you contemplate why you even continue to live here when people down in Florida get to tear up the streets and meet in nice weather all yearlong.

You sit in your house and peruse Youtube for your daily dose of car culture, and you scour the internet reading articles and reviews just to get your fix until the sun and warmth return in the coming months.  You start to lose hope, what if it doesn’t get warm and you can’t work on your project ever again?  What if the only way for you to enjoy the local car scene is when you’re wearing 7 layers and have to sit inside your car with the heat blasting?

Well my friends, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  As many people in the North East and Mid-Atlantic regions know, Tuner-Evolution is a group of events all over the country that cater specifically to tuner cars, and their event always draw a huge crowd full of newcomers, old heads, vendors, and journalists alike.  And in the DMV area, no events are larger and more popular than the almighty Tuner-Evolution.

Different events held once a year that showcase some of the most amazing builds in the area, whether you’re into Stance, Power, or just the JDM scene in general, Tuner-Evolution events are some that no enthusiast wants to miss if you can help it.

Well Tuner-Evolution has recently posted all their dates for the upcoming shows, the two most important to our area being Tuner-Evolution: Philly, and Panda Junction.

Panda Junction is a large event held for the past few years at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland, and is a large, outdoor event where all cars are welcome.  Think of it as an absolutely huge car meet really, except it features a live DJ, several vendors, and the almighty VIP section where some of the best builds in the area are showcased after a rigorous approval process.  Panda Junction is held twice a year, once in the Spring, and again in the Fall.  2016’s shows saw over 1600 cars and 20+ vendors, and this year is expected to be even bigger than the last.  Registration is now open for this event as well.

Panda Junction is a more relaxed atmosphere than the official Tuner-Evolution shows.  No events, no competitions, just sweet cars, awesome people, and a great time.
